Role and Responsibilities

  • The Business Unit Manager will be responsible for building and heading a Reply Polska business unit in Katowice, Poland. Key responsibilities include:
  • General management, budget, and personnel planning.
  • Stakeholder management with Reply internal clients.
  • Active participation in recruitment and sourcing processes, including interviewing and decision-making.
  • People management and mentoring for a team of over 20 individuals.
  • Supervising and managing project delivery, ensuring teams meet KPIs against the business plan and that software development projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Working in an agile mode within an innovative and international team, with a high degree of creativity.

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable technical course of study.
  • Relevant professional experience in a position with personnel responsibility.
  • Strong experience in coordinating, leading, and scheduling teams, with excellent people management skills and the ability to motivate team members.
  • Experience in IT Service Management, ITIL, and managed services or SLA-driven service delivery projects.
  • Ability to meet customer expectations while challenging employees, demonstrating pragmatic, solution-oriented thinking under pressure.
  • Very good communication skills in English and Polish.
  • Basic German language skills are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
