Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Kubernetes environments on public cloud or IaaS platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, VMware, OpenStack).
  • Create and advise on multi-cloud container-orchestration environments based on customer requirements.
  • Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines and automate environment provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Design system solutions using open-source components.
  • Act as the key voice in cloud cost engineering for complex system landscapes, driving cost-optimization decisions.
  • Share expertise by producing relevant content for clients and interested audiences (e.g., technical articles, blog posts, conference presentations, hands-on training).
  • Deepen knowledge in advanced topics such as container orchestration, multi-cloud, edge cloud, cloud-native application migration, serverless, or microservice architecture.

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in computer science, (business) mathematics, physics, or a related field.
  • True Kubernetes specialist with hands-on experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP (certifications are a plus).
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Crossplane.
  • Daily work with Kubernetes, containers, microservices, cloud-native architectures, self-contained systems, and Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Very good communication skills in English and Polish (German is a plus).
  • Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 1 visit in the office per quarter. Open to occasional travels abroad.
