About the RoleWe are seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our multicultural, collaborative, and fully distributed engineering team. You will be responsible for maintaining the core platform that compensation administrators use to build and operate sales compensation models. Our team prides itself on building best-in-class products powered by innovative technologies.
Responsibilities- Design, build, optimize, and maintain CaptivateIQ's data and core platform functionality.
- Work across our full product stack to develop and improve product features.
- Participate in the product development process from start to finish, including scoping projects, measuring success, and iterating based on feedback.
- Maintain high engineering and security standards, and continuously improve our codebases and processes.
- Collaborate with engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scale.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues and maintaining system uptime.
- 4+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with both frontend and backend development.
- Proficiency with Django and React.
- Experience with a relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Demonstrated track record of taking responsibility and ownership over core product areas.
- Sharp attention to detail and a user-centric focus.
- Experience making data-driven decisions on product and process.
- Experience building a positive remote-first culture.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Python, Django.
- Proficiency with Typescript, React, Cypress, and/or Chakra UI.
