Must have:

• 5+ years’ experience in SAP FI (AP, AR, GL, AA, PS)
• Strong Czech SAP FI localization knowledge (tax/legal/regulatory)
• Hands-on ability to define & configure SAP FI for CZ specifics
• Ability to challenge Business users (regulatory vs. wish list)
• Native Czech + good English

Key practical expertise:

• Setup of Czech National Bank exchange rates interface & usage in postings/FC revaluation
• Reclassification/regrouping of AP, AR & GR/IR positions per CZ statutory rules
• Standard CZ Asset Accounting config (depreciation methods, keys, asset classes)
• Building layouts for Accounting Rule 023 & Law 500/2002 (incl. local CoA)
• CZ VAT reporting specifics in SAP
• Proven track record in larger implementations

Responsibilities

• Define and configure SAP Finance (AP, AR, GL, AA, PS) for Czech-specific requirements.
• Apply Czech tax and legal knowledge to SAP FI configuration and challenge business users on regulatory vs. non-essential requirements.
• Configure and integrate the Czech Central Bank exchange rates interface into SAP, ensuring correct usage in daily postings and foreign currency revaluations.
• Implement statutory requirements for reclassification/regrouping of AP & AR positions and GR/IR account positions.
• Set up standard Czech configuration for Fixed Assets, including depreciation methods and keys, asset classes, and other regulatory requirements.
• Build layouts for Accounting Rule 023 and Czech Accounting Law 500/2002, including Local Chart of Accounts setup.
• Define and configure Czech VAT reporting specifics in SAP.
• Provide hands-on expertise in Czech SAP FI requirements, supporting larger implementations.
