We are looking for a new member for his team.

As a Storage and Server Administrator, you will manage and implement infrastructure requirements in storage, server administration, and data backup. You will lead and support projects from planning to commissioning, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems and processes. The role includes developing technical concepts, coordinating infrastructure projects, and delivering high-quality administration in both internal and customer environments. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives, innovation topics, and provide on-call and 2nd-level support.

• Independently implement requirements in the area of storage and server administration, as well as data backup.
• Actively participate in projects, providing support during the planning and commissioning of infrastructure (server, storage, backup).
• Create and document technical concepts and architecture planning in the area of storage, both internally at A1 and within the ITO environment.
• Coordinate and execute infrastructure projects (life cycle management, system extensions, etc.).
• Perform standard storage administration tasks internally and in the customer environment.
• Take responsibility for the development of one or more strategic topics (including innovation topics).
• Implement developed solutions and integrate them into the existing infrastructure and processes (Asset Management, Change Management, License Management, Problem Management, Vendor Management, etc.), or into customer-specific processes where applicable.
• Provide on-call service and 2nd-level support.
• Contribute your knowledge and experience to the strategic and innovative work of the team, supporting the implementation of the corporate strategy.
• Be part of a process- and solution-oriented team, actively shaping processes and workflows.

• Strong knowledge and several years of experience in the configuration and administration of heterogeneous SAN and NAS environments (Dell/EMC, HP, Brocade, NetApp).
• Expert knowledge in planning, setting up, and operating NetApp systems.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery solutions.
• Proficiency in administering OnCommand Insight.
