Storage Engineer

THE WORK:

• Configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise storage and backup systems (Dell EMC - Data Domain, Avamar; Veritas - NetBackup, Backup Exec, Rubrik, Veeam ) using technologies such as Dell EMC (Unity, PowerMax, VNX), Zerto Data Replication, NetApp, IBM
• Design scalable storage architectures supporting virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and utilization to ensure optimal system operation.
• Ensure data protection, replication, and compliance with retention policies.
• Troubleshoot storage-related issues and collaborate with system and network teams.
• Automate provisioning and monitoring using scripting tools like PowerShell or Python.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Proven experience in managing enterprise storage systems (minimum 3 years+).
• Hands-on expertise with storage, backup technologies and cloud: AWS (S3, FSx, EBS), Azure Storage and Recovery Services vault
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
