THE WORK
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise virtualization platforms to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability across complex environments.
- Work with technologies such as VMware vSphere, Nutanix and virtual networking to support business-critical workloads.
- Configure and manage virtualization platforms, including clustering and vMotion/Live Migration.
- Monitor CPU, memory, and storage utilization to ensure optimal performance and capacity planning.
- Manage templates, snapshots, backups, and virtual networking components.
- Collaborate with storage, network, and OS teams to ensure seamless infrastructure integration.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, patching policies, and disaster recovery readiness.Contribute to automation efforts for provisioning and management using tools like PowerCLI, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Be proactive in skill enhancement and enthusiastic about professional growth through hands-on experience and cross-functional collaboration.
- Thrive on continuous advancement by contributing to infrastructure modernization initiatives.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Proven experience managing virtualization platforms (minimum 3 years+).
- Hands-on expertise with VMware vSphere
- Strong understanding of virtual infrastructure design, performance tuning, and high availability.
- Experience with monitoring tools and capacity planning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience with Nutanix and / or Citrix VDI environments.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation using PowerCLI, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, PowerCLI, bash)
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
