About the team:
As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for the Center of Excellence (CoE) at HashiCorp, you will be a key enabler in scaling and operationalizing our global CoE strategy in alignment with the priorities of the Technical Field Operations (TFO) organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Technical CoE Operations, you will help the execution of cross-regional initiatives, support the lifecycle of new and existing CoEs, and serve as a central point of coordination across global teams.
This role requires a strong balance of operational excellence, stakeholder management, and global program delivery. You will be expected to influence at multiple levels, lead with a “culture first” mindset, and contribute to both the short-term success and long-term scalability of our international technical operations.
What you’ll do (responsibilities):
- Support the planning, launch, and ongoing coordination of global CoEs in alignment with TFO strategy and business objectives.
- Help manage cross-functional programs and workstreams to ensure smooth execution, transparency, and timely delivery of milestones.
- Coordinate and support the full employee lifecycle across CoEs, from pre-hiring and onboarding through career development, performance management, and offboarding—ensuring an excellent employee experience.
- Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, Sales Operations, and other functions to scale operations and align with company practices.Support regional analysis and due diligence for new CoE locations, considering talent pools, cost efficiency, and strategic fit.
- Oversee hiring strategy, onboarding, development, and long-term retention of technical talent within the CoEs.
- Serve as a key contact for day-to-day employee support needs, ensuring timely issue resolution and a people-first approach to operations.
- Support Innovation Lab initiatives, helping drive productivity and experimentation through AI and other emerging technologies.
- Serve as a key liaison between local CoE teams and global leadership, ensuring information flow and alignment across time zones and cultures.
- Monitor compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies during CoE setup and operations.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks early while fostering continuous improvement in CoE processes.
- Track key program metrics, report updates to leadership, and adapt plans as needed to meet evolving business requirements.
