How You’ll Make an Impact:

Guarantee consistent performance, layout, and behavior across devices, operating systems, and browsers—leveraging tools like BrowserStack or real hardware for accurate, real-world validation.

Engage in initiatives that span multiple teams and platforms (e.g., Web, Native App, Infrastructure), helping maintain end-to-end quality and alignment throughout the development and delivery lifecycle.
-
Defect Identification and Reporting:
Thoroughly log reproducible, well-documented bugs in Jira; communicate clearly with developers; and verify fixes in a structured and timely manner to keep delivery on track and free from regressions.
-
Regression, Smoke & Sanity Testing:
Execute regular regression suites and smoke tests in staging and pre-production environments—ensuring new releases meet stability and reliability expectations before going live.
-
Test Documentation & Coverage:
Maintain precise, clear, and up-to-date documentation for test cases, execution logs, edge cases, and coverage metrics—aligned with product specs and QA best practices.
-
Test Environment and Data Management:
Prepare and maintain test environments and necessary data configurations to support both manual and automated testing workflows—enabling accurate, repeatable, and efficient test execution.
-
Release Support & Post-Deployment Validation:
Take part in go-live testing, deployment verifications, and early post-release monitoring—confirming production readiness and swiftly identifying any issues in live environments.
-
Process & Quality Improvements:
Actively contribute to team retrospectives and continuous improvement efforts—suggesting enhancements to testing tools, workflows, and collaboration to raise the overall quality bar.
-
Quality Ownership & Advocacy:
Partner with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the development process—ensuring it’s treated as a shared responsibility, not just a final checkpoint.
