Project is related to regulatory reporting for one of clients from the investment banking area.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for enterprise applications running on Linux/Unix platforms.
- Monitor application performance and availability; respond to incidents and alerts.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to Java-based applications and SQL databases.
- Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions for recurring problems.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and database teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Maintain and update support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and support reporting needs.
- Participate in application deployments, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal SLAs and ITIL-based support processes.
MUST
- Proven experience in a technical support or application support role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix command-line tools and shell scripting.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and SQL.
- Familiarity with Java application architecture, logs, and debugging techniques.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a large corporate environment with technical specialist teams
- Experience and certification in Azure
