*Your future team: * In our Sustainable Melting Team we are developing and implementing technologies that are never heard of in stone wool production and even not in other heavy industries. What you will be doing: As a Project Manager in Sustainable Melting you are appointed a leading role in all phases of projects, from initial specifications and design to test, commissioning and after service.
Projects are related to conversion from fossil fuels to green electricity, and they involve extensive rebuilds on existing factories as well as building new factories.
You will be responsible for: * Leading on electrical and software design and provide sparring for programme- and factory management to deliver the optimum solutions based on ROCKWOOL standards; * Executing electrical and software implementation from initial phase to hand-over including planning, coordination within the team and external suppliers and you secure the quality of the deliveries and the electrical documentation package; * Improving design and quality of solutions based on latest knowledge and by building strong supplier relations; * Driving improvement initiatives within electrical design of ROCKWOOL sustainable melting plants.
This role requires business travels, up to 60 days per year, primarily within Europe. On longer journeys, you will typically be accompanied by several colleagues.

Moreover, we expect you to: * Have a degree in engineering and/or relevant experience within automation/electrical design and building of manufacturing plants providing highly automated high-volume production; * Be technically well versed and enjoy technical analysis and problem-solving involving advanced processes and complex regulated systems; * Be able to communicate efficiently to international colleagues across all levels in the organisation; * Speak and write English effortlessly; * At least 5 years of experience within electrical design for high power applications for e.g. heavy industries is an advantage.
