We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong automation, cloud, and infrastructure skills, ideally with a background in Java-based environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across modern and legacy technologies, building CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized workloads, and driving reliability and performance in Azure. This role requires solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Unix systems, Shell/Bash, and Python, along with strong troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Java-based applications in Azure.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of microservices (App Services, Azure SQL, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Implement infrastructure as code and manage configurations using Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep.
- Manage container orchestration and operations using Kubernetes and Helm.
- Collaborate with development teams to support build, integration, and deployment processes.
- Maintain and optimize Unix/Linux environments through scripting and automation (Shell/Bash, Python).
- Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Troubleshoot production and development issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure high availability.
- Support the migration of legacy Java applications to modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures.
- Contribute to improving DevOps best practices and automation standards within the team.
MUST
- Minimum 6-7 years of experience in DevOps, build/release engineering, or backend development.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure SQL, ACR, AKS).
- Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Shell/Bash).
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep).
- Experience with Java applications (Spring Boot, Quarkus, or legacy stacks like Struts/JSP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex distributed systems.
- Experience migrating legacy systems to modern, cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Experience implementing security and compliance automation (e.g., vulnerability scans, policies as code).
- Exposure to networking concepts and performance tuning in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
