- Experience in Android system stability: bootloader, kernel, drivers, hal, system
- Good command of C/C++ (standard libraries)
- Knowledge of toolchains, cross-compilation, profilers, packaging, ADB, bootloop
- Knowledge of Gradle/Ant/Make Build
- Communicative English
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice to have:
- Prior work and experience in the delivery or maintenance team (ideally the one dealing with a mobile phone system’s maintenance)
- Java on a level of understanding android services and callstacks
- System profiling and optimization techniques
- UML diagrams practical knowledge
- Knowledge of hardware architectures: Arm Cortex-A/m4 and other architectures
- Knowledge about embedded, IoT, wearables systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and problems’ root cause finding in SW
- Analyzing stability and optimizations across the technology stack
- Proposing improvements to existing SW
- Co-working with HQ and local experts’ team on an issue analysis and improvements
