Java Developer/Data Engineer

• Salary based on B2B contract (via Devire).

• Background as a Java Senior Developer who transitioned into Data Engineering.
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles and Big Data processing.
• Hands-on experience with Scala and Apache Spark.
• Experience with software development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, code quality monitoring, and cloud environments (preferably Azure). 
• Knowledge of Airflow and/or Python will be considered an advantage.
• Strong focus on service quality and software craftsmanship principles.
• Team-oriented, curious, and pragmatic mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solutions and backend architectures for a data platform.
• Develop, test, and maintain data feeds and large-scale processing pipelines using modern Big Data technologies.
• Build and optimize datasets and datamarts to support data analysis and reporting needs. 
• Ensure scalability, stability, and performance of backend systems in production.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in CI/CD process enhancements.
• Monitor and maintain code quality, ensuring compliance with development best practices.
• Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with feature teams across backend and interface layers.
