Your future team

As part of our Accounts Payable team, you will be operating at the core of our business, where your leadership skills will lead to better decision-making throughout the entire value chain. Within your field, you can work on a variety of assignments with a high level of responsibility – from process perspective to ensure invoices are posted and paid according to agreed timelines and you will be exposed to participate in the various projects that develop your skills and allow you to progress your career.

What you will be doing

We are seeking a proactive, experienced and people-oriented Accounts Payable Team Leader to play a critical role within ROCKWOOL GBS in Poznań. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, making strong communication and leadership skills essential.

Main tasks include:

  • Lead of skilled operational and professional employees who apply operational, technical, or professional expertise gained through work experience or education.
  • Secure of competency level and planning for respective team / area including operational capabilities and functional development plans.
  • Ensure team satisfaction and engagement, recognize achievements, actively network with other teams, and foster a collaborative culture.
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalations related to regular daily activities for both team members and stakeholders inside and outside ROCKWOOL GBS (according to internal governance).
  • Ensure efficient communication, cooperation, and relationship management while promoting a feedback culture with multiple stakeholders, including other team leaders, management, project members, business units, and clients.
  • Drive efficiency and improving of data quality, Initiate and review cost / benefit analysis of activities to enhance process performance, at team level.
  • Proactively anticipate potential delays and situations where the team may be overloaded, working to mitigate the impact. Monitor potential delays and team workload risks.
  • Plan audits, securing resource availability and ensuring deliveries meet deadlines.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives among the team and facilitate change management process for improvement solutions, at team level.

What you bring:

  • Master's degree in accounting, Management, Economics or related fields (preferred).
  • 1+ year of leadership experience
  • Good understanding of ERP system and process related applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365 package.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • Leadership and people development skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks successfully in a hectic working day,
