LTE Linux Platform Engineer

Krakow LTE team design solution and develops software that enables critical communication by connecting people efficiently during their work. Our products are used by public safety organization having likely highest quality requirements.The team is responsible for end-to-end solution and software development life-cycle, including: architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance. We are building cross-functional and self-organizing team working in agile-scrum environment.

Job Description

We are looking for professionals for our LTE Platform Agile Team with focus on Linux platforms (Windows may be plus) and virtualization products for small LTE system. Team members, are responsible for the integration and maintenance of 3rd party evolved packet core (EPC) where Linux platform is critical asset as well as virtualization using VMWare solutions including virtualization of transport network components. The responsibilities include the development of design, writing scripts implementing features based on light weight requirements and high level design. Readiness to support writing the user manual, functional and performance testing (manual and automated) and solution integration test are also expected. The project uses Agile Scrum methodology.

• Degree in computer science, telecommunications, automatics, robotics field or similar
• Practical knowledge of Linux operating systems from user and administrator perspectives
• Practical knowledge of Python and/or Linux shell(s) Perl/Bash
• Practical knowledge of VMWare virtualization (ESXi)
• Practical transport networks (configuration and protocols)
• Very good troubleshooting skills, an analytic approach to given tasks and problems
• Ability to learn new skills quickly and to switch tasks and/or used technologies
• Ability to collaborate with onsite and offsite teams
• English language skills at the level allowing efficient communication
