What You'll Do
- Conduct technical analysis, propose scalable and secure solutions, and evaluate technical options with the client lead and team;
- Participate in architecture and design discussions, documenting and aligning architecture with best practices and project goals;
- Collaborate with product owners to clarify technical and business requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with feature specifications;
- Maintain effective communication across teams and departments, updating stakeholders on progress, risks, and technical solutions;
- Identify opportunities for technical and process improvements, staying up to date with industry trends;
- Promote continuous learning and innovation across the team;
- Provide mentorship, share best practices, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture;

Job Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in Java, with recent experience in Java 17 preferred;
- Strong background in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA;
- Experience with PostgreSQL and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL storage concepts (Redis, MongoDB);
- Understanding of QA processes and testing strategies in software development;
- Experience running high-load, high-uptime production systems;
- Experience with data-intensive systems and data-driven product architectures;
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills;
- English proficiency B2 or higher for communication with international teams;
Nice To Have
- Knowledge of software security, secure coding practices, and PII management;
- Experience working in the airline or travel domain;
- Familiarity with GCP (preferred) or AWS;
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog (preferred), NewRelic, or Prometheus;
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux-based environments;
- Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools;
- Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tools and processes;
