The role of Transition Manager is a very dynamic position for a person willing to work on IT service transitions / project management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop within a team of 10+ Transition Managers and work on international projects. Transition Managers are responsible and manage significant transition programs inclusive of transferring services and staff from one delivery model to another or from one service provider to another (internal or external). They ensure that service levels are maintained throughout and are responsible for the budget, project plans and for the reporting to the customer and internal management.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Lead the transition activities and ensure that the new service is fully accepted into RUN
  • Validate service scope and service measurement criteria, ensure that service levels are documented and that a contract summary is created
  • Conduct quality gate reviews and undertake project audits as agreed
  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Own project financials (billing, forecasting)
  • Take part in Bid process and influence transition solutioning together with solution analysts and architects

  • At least 1 year of experience in a transition/project manager role or in an SME/Technical Manager role with experience in Transition
  • Good understanding of transition/project management methodologies
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and at different levels of the organization
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Good technical awareness
  • Certification (Prince2, ITIL Service Transition or any other relevant) would be an asset
