- Knowledge of the principles of building databases
- Practical experience in DBMS management
- Ability to perform the entire range of DBMS maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of the main DBMS and OS monitoring parameters that affect the performance and fault tolerance of the DBMS
- Experience in designing, deploying and operating fault-tolerant DBMS systems (DB2, SQLServer, Oracle, Postgres, CouchBase)
- Ability to independently form requirements for the hardware and software configuration of database servers, including fault-tolerant solutions
- Ability to diagnose and fix malfunctions in the DBMS
