What you’ll achieve As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:
- Contribute to the development and architecture of our industry-leading modern storage platforms and take part in the full software development life cycle, including development, test, continuous delivery, and support
- Create detailed technical designs for new features and improvements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all areas
- Implement features and test automation related to networking of storage systems
- Work on discovery task and proof of concepts around modern networking solutions
- Implement company standards and practices to ensure quality and security.

Essential Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience in the following areas:
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python or C
- Understanding of modern Linux, including the kernel, drivers, containers, early boot, and other low-level technologies
- Ability to write clean, testable code; familiarity with unit/integration/system testing and CI/CD
- Self-driven and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from design to implementation
Desirable Requirements
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with Storage systems
- Knowledge about networking (ethernet, infiniband etc.)
- Capacity to achieve proficiency in new tools, languages and frameworks with training and on-the-job experience
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate in an Agile/ Scrum environment
