As a Team Lead, you will:

  • Leading a software development team and projects:
    • Inspiring and motivating your team while supporting their growth and development
    • Ensure your team has the resources to succeed – like tech, competencies & capacity
    • Keep an eye on your team’s performance and always look for ways to make things better
    • Staying on top of the finances, incl. monthly billing and reporting
    • Being the go-to person for communication, keeping everyone in the loop and building good relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
    • Building strong partnerships with the client and exploring future opportunities together
  • Supporting the Business Unit Leader in sales and attracting new clients by drafting offers and other related tasks when needed
  • Collaborating on developing and enhancing Helmes’ tools, processes, and best practices

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Inspire, motivate, and support your team’s growth and development
  • Ensure your team has the necessary resources, including technology, skills, and capacity, to succeed
  • Monitor team performance and continuously seek opportunities for improvement
  • Manage financial aspects, including monthly billing and reporting
  • Build lasting partnerships with clients and actively explore future collaboration opportunities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external communication, fostering strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners

We are looking for:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead or Project Manager in the IT field
  • Skilled at leading teams and managing projects, with a talent for motivating people
  • Great influencing skills, including the ability to inspire, lead, and negotiate effectively
  • Ready to take on responsibilities and follow through on commitments
  • Experience in managing finances and budgets at the unit level
  • Fluent communication skills in both Estonian and English, both spoken and written
  • Being proactive and thinking like an entrepreneur
  • Mature and taking ownership of the work
  • Having experience in sales is beneficial
