Application Operations:

  • Operate and support TM1, SAP BO (WebI, Crystal Reports), and SAP Data Services in production.
  • Perform regular maintenance, service restarts, fixpack/patch installation, and configuration updates.

Monitoring & Security:

  • Build and maintain dashboards/alerts for application health, jobs, and services; ensure log rotation and storage monitoring.
  • Manage user provisioning, access control (ACL/LDAP sync), and enforce compliance with customer IT security policies.

Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) & Automation:

  • Automate recurring operational tasks and runbook steps with Python/PowerShell/Bash and scheduling tools; standardize deployment windows.
  • Contribute to versioned configuration artifacts and scripted procedures for repeatable operations.

Operational Support:

  • Handle incidents, service requests, and changes via defined ITIL workflows; document resolutions and contribute to service reviews (ITMR).
  • Collaborate with Big Data Platform Engineers and Monitoring Specialists to ensure end‑to‑end service quality across data pipelines and BI apps.

  • University degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Practical experience operating TM1, SAP BO (WebI/Crystal), and SAP Data Services: configuration, patching, troubleshooting, and performance basics.
  • Knowledge of ODBC, Tomcat/Apache fundamentals, LDAP integration, and application‑level security/ACL management.
  • Scripting for operations (Python/PowerShell/Bash); familiarity with monitoring/alerting concepts and log analysis.
  • Clear documentation skills; ability to work in SLA‑governed, ITIL environments and communicate with business/application stakeholders.
  • Nice to have: vendor‑specific certifications (TM1/Planning Analytics, SAP BO/Data Services), ITIL v3/v4 Foundation.
  • Very good communication skills in English and Polish complete your profile. German or Czech is   a plus. Additional languages are welcome.
  • You are open to work in a hybrid mode, with 2-3 days at our office in Katowice
