Group Account Support Manager | Global Marketing & Sales

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join Hitachi's Global Marketing and Sales (GM&S) team, a high-profile corporate initiative at the very center of the Hitachi Group. You'll be supporting our Group Account Managers to manage stakeholder engagement and ensure continued growth within our major global accounts.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of driving our sales strategy and operational excellence to fuel real business growth. You’ll assist in crafting targeted initiatives and making sure they’re executed flawlessly, delivering results that truly matter.

A big part of your focus will be fostering collaboration across Hitachi Business Units and shaping a powerful, unified value proposition that aligns with our One Hitachi account plans.

You'll be able to demonstrate in-depth sales and account management experience – specifically, managing multi-million dollar deals through the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to close.

What you'll be doing

  • Partnering with Global Account Managers to develop and execute focused account plans that reflect a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Monitoring account performance, identifying constraints, and implementing corrective actions to drive results.
  • Collaborating with Hitachi Business Units to strengthen our value proposition through market insights, reference cases, and strategic documentation.
  • Building and expanding player maps to understand customer decision-making environments.
  • Working cross-functionally with marketing and segment teams to align on joint account activities and share success stories.
  • Leading account onboarding workshops that bring the One Hitachi approach to life.
  • Supporting program governance through initiative tracking, reporting, and adherence to sales operations processes.

What you bring to the team:

  • Demonstrable experience in Sales & Account Managemrnt, ideally as an Account Manager, Sales Program Lead, or Sales Support Specialist.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, both internally and externally.
  • A sharp eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Analytical thinking and a talent for building strong relationships.
  • Fluency in English
