About TransferGo

TransferGo is a growing fintech scale-up on a mission to make the world a fairer place for migrants. We strive to provide tailored, more affordable financial services that make people's hard-earned money go further. Now in our 13th year, with close to 400 employees in offices across Europe and the UK, we’re crafting a brilliant, relevant product that makes a difference in people's lives and the well-being of their families.

We’ve come this far by building a talented, diverse workforce on a fair culture and our strong values. Having this strong team of employees, we can serve those who really need our product to make their lives better.

Why TransferGo, Why Now? 🚀

TransferGo is at a pivotal moment. We’re evolving from a remittance-first product into a full financial services ecosystem — expanding services, launching new products, and scaling across markets. This shift creates new customer journeys, monetization models, and greenfield analytics problems. It’s exactly the kind of environment where senior analysts can have outsized impact. This role is a rare opportunity to define and own the Product & Growth analytics function, shape how data is used at executive level, and directly influence how millions of customers discover, adopt, and stay with our services.

The Mission

As a Senior Data Analyst, your north star is clear: Increase acquisition, retention, and new service adoption through data-driven product and growth decisions.

In your first 6 months, success looks like:

  • Clear, trusted visibility into acquisition, retention, and adoption funnels
  • Actionable insights that directly influence the product and growth roadmap
  • Executive stakeholders relying on your dashboards and recommendations for strategic decisions

You will own the definition, measurement, and continuous improvement of core Product & Growth metrics.

Where You’ll Sit

  • Embedded in the Product & Growth team, partnering closely with Product Managers, UX, and Marketing
  • Acting as a strategic analytics partner to leadership on customer behavior and growth performance
  • This is not a ticket-factory role — you help define the questions, not just answer them

What You’ll Own

  1. Strategy & Ownership

    • Define the analytics roadmap for Product & Growth end-to-end
    • Identify the highest-impact questions around acquisition efficiency, retention, and service adoption
    • Proactively surface insights before stakeholders ask for them
  2. Analytics, Experimentation & Insight

    • Design and maintain core product and growth dashboards (Tableau, Amplitude)
    • Perform deep-dive analyses on funnels, cohorts, and user behavior
    • Own the analytics side of experimentation — from hypothesis design and success metrics to results interpretation
    • Translate complex analyses into clear narratives and recommendations for the C-suite
  3. Mentorship & Influence

    • Mentor junior analysts and raise the bar for analytics best practices
    • Educate non-technical stakeholders on data literacy and decision-making
    • Regularly present insights directly to C-level, Heads, and VPs, influencing roadmap and investment decisions

The Tech Stack

We know senior analysts care about tools — here’s what you’ll work with:

  • SQL — expert-level, day-to-day analysis
  • dbt — transformations and analytics engineering best practices
  • Tableau — executive-level dashboards and storytelling
  • Amplitude — product analytics and behavioral insights
  • Python and/or R — deeper statistical analysis, forecasting, and modeling

You’ll have the autonomy to influence how analytics is done, not just follow existing patterns.

What Makes This a Senior Role

This role is senior because of impact, autonomy, and exposure, not just tenure.

  • Roadmap Ownership: You define what “great analytics” looks like for Product & Growth
  • Executive Visibility: Direct access to leadership — your work shapes company-level decisions
  • Business Mindset: You connect data to outcomes like revenue, LTV, and retention — not vanity metrics

What this role is not:

  • A dashboard-only or reporting-only position
  • A ticket-driven analytics role with no strategic input
  • An isolated IC with no influence on product decisions

How We Work

  • Hybrid in Vilnius (flexible), with a remote-first mindset
  • Strong remote candidates in similar time zones are encouraged
  • Fast-paced, high-ownership culture where data genuinely shapes decisions

The Opportunity

If you’re looking for a role where you:

  • Own the analytics vision, not just execution
  • Influence product, growth, and executive strategy

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership culture where data genuinely shapes decisions.
  • Hybrid work model in Vilnius with a remote-first mindset.
  • The chance to shape the analytics function for a growing fintech scale-up.
  • Direct access to leadership and the opportunity to influence company-level decisions.
  • Autonomy to influence how analytics is done.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in product-led or fintech growth environments.
  • Advanced SQL and experience with analytics-ready data models (dbt experience is a strong plus).
  • Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or similar).
  • Comfortable using Python or R when SQL hits its limits.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights.
  • Curious, proactive, and excited about building — not just maintaining — analytics.
