We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead a Product Domain team that supports cluster delivery teams in delivering projects and business value to our stakeholders. This role provides an opportunity to apply your leadership skills, contribute to strategic initiatives, and grow within a dynamic and evolving organization.

In this position, you will work closely with the central Product Domain team within the sub-tower, ensuring strong alignment and effective collaboration. You will support your team in day-to-day operations, foster people development through coaching and mentoring, and coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. A strong focus will be placed on driving continuous improvement across processes, performance, and ways of working, enabling teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.

How you will get the job done

  • providing comprehensive IT consulting and support for business initiatives, with a strong focus on enabling the strategic implementation of business requirements in Omnichannel and Online Sales - this includes end-to-end program management for the associated project portfolio
  • supporting the full lifecycle of IT project deliverables, from business analysis and requirements management through to delivery and implementation, and ensuring seamless integration of cross-functional IT deliverables into the existing ERGO system landscape, as well as the successful transition to IT operations
  • ensuring consistent application of professional testing methods and quality standards across the sub-tower, while coordinating and overseeing all test activities to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • leading and coordinating a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals, including Business Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Test Managers
  • fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture, promoting the use of standard tools, frameworks, and best practices, and supporting resource planning to ensure the availability of the right skills across the project portfolio
  • supporting the professional growth and development of employees in a global environment by encouraging continuous learning, knowledge sharing, coaching, and cross-location collaboration to build sustainable delivery capabilities

  • fluency in English
  • University degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, (Business) Informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • inspiring leadership skills combined with a hands-on mentality and strong ownership mindset
  • solid understanding of the insurance industry, including core processes, products, sales channels, and business models
  • good understanding of the software development lifecycle and key technical concepts related to IT solutions
  • proven experience in portfolio management and IT project management, including time, cost, and risk management
  • demonstrated success in leading delivery teams with a strong focus on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a service-oriented approach toward internal and external partners
  • experience in managing and developing cross-country teams, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven work environment
  • strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to motivate diverse teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively
  • willingness to travel occasionally
