In this position you will lead a team of highly qualified and motivated experts facilitating the financial management of the IT divisions across the ERGO International business segment. The role includes close collaboration with C-level executives to align strategic objectives of the business segment with an appropriate IT funding ensuring efficient deployment of IT services and developments. You will work in an international work environment managing a variety of stakeholders inside and outside of the Group Technology organization.

How you will get the job done

  • managing the integration of ERGO International risk carriers into the financial processes of Group Technology, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • facilitating financial reviews, planning, and reporting on IT expenses in the business segment to ensure financial transparency
  • preparing and presenting comprehensive business cases for strategic initiatives to senior executives
  • monitoring and assessing business cases of major strategic initiatives with respect to IT financials
  • conducting risk assessments by identifying and mitigating risks associated with IT initiatives and transactions
  • facilitating cross-functional collaboration by acting as a liaison between IT, finance, legal and HR
  • continuously improving efficiency in IT

  • fluency in English
  • at least 10 years of experience in IT Management and/or Project Management
  • degree in IT or management studies
  • sound finance know-how combined with a good understanding of IT operations
  • ability to develop and implement long-term strategies that align IT initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational success
  • proven capability to lead and coordinate efforts across diverse teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment of goals
  • strong understanding of financial principles and practices, enabling effective management of budgets and financial oversight in IT projects
  • proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with IT initiatives and business cases
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior executives and stakeholders
  • strong analytical and conceptual skills, enabling the interpretation of complex data and development of actionable insights
  • ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders (including C-level), ensuring alignment and support for IT initiatives
  • competence in managing change effectively, facilitating smooth transitions during integration and transformation processes
  • strong negotiation abilities to navigate discussions and reach agreements that support organizational objectives
