8+ years of hands-on backend development experience

Strong experience building cloud-native systems on AWS (microservices, serverless, containers, event-driven architecture)

Proficiency in Python or another modern backend language

Experience designing distributed systems at scale

Solid understanding of data systems, relational databases, and messaging/streaming technologies

Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and production environments

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

Design and build large-scale, distributed backend systems powering a cloud-native SaaS platform

Lead technical initiatives that span multiple teams and services

Drive architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance improvements

Collaborate closely with Product, Security, and Platform teams to deliver secure and resilient solutions

Mentor engineers and raise the overall technical bar through design reviews and best practices

Contribute to the full development lifecycle, from design to production operations
