How you will get the job done
- collaborating with external clients and internal business and technology teams to gather requirements and define project scope
- designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes and advanced SQL queries within the insurance domain
- mapping insurance data to a unified data model and implementing it in our data warehouse
- supporting business users and data scientists with data access and interpreting results
- participating in the creation and implementation of best practices and innovative data management solutions

- fluency in English
- a university degree in Computer Science or a related field
- at least 4 years of experience in a similar position
- strong knowledge of SQL/T-SQL and hands-on experience optimizing queries and ETL processes
- practical experience with data modelling and working with large datasets
- experience in direct client collaboration and the ability to clearly communicate technical and business information
Nice to have
- German language proficiency
- experience with data processing platforms (e.g., Databricks, Azure Data Factory)
- experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies
- knowledge of Power BI
- familiarity with Python
