Information Security is responsible for preventing IT crime, hacking, and any intentional or unintentional modification, disclosure, or destruction of the organization's information systems, IT resources, and intellectual property. The focus of this role is to ensure a secure, compliant and responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across Deutsche Bank. The position sits within the Chief Security Office (CSO).

Responsibilities

  • Support the assessment and approval process of bank-wide AI use cases from an information security perspective and ensure alignment with DB security standards.
  • Provide consultancy and advisory services to Business and Infrastructure stakeholders regarding secure AI implementation.
  • Support the design, enhancement, and implementation of CSO controls enabling secure AI adoption.
  • Assist in the development of pragmatic, risk-based CSO strategies for emerging AI solutions and tools.
  • Identify and assess potential threats, control gaps, and security risks in AI-driven projects.
  • Support the strengthening of bank-wide AI security governance, including updates to policies, standards, and frameworks.
  • Coordinate with internal CSO stakeholders to ensure holistic coverage of AI-related security considerations.
  • Help Business stakeholders understand complex AI security topics and communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences.

Skills

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Strong technical understanding of information security controls, including Cloud Security, application security, data security, and threat modeling.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies, including common risks such as model poisoning, data leakage, and prompt injection.
  • 5–7 years of experience in Information Security, ideally including secure architecture or security advisory functions. 1 +years of AI experience mandatory.
  • Experience developing or reviewing security standards, frameworks, controls or governance models.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, ethical AI, data privacy, AI Risk and regulatory expectations is a strong plus.
  • Experience in the financial industry or other strongly regulated industries.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, CCSK, and AI-related certificates are mandatory for a recognized institute NIST, ISC2 or ISACA.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Project management experience and ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent command of English (oral and written).
