Overview:
The Cloud Devops team at Liveperson is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer: a candidate that takes on challenges, continuously expands his area of expertise and naturally takes ownership of his work. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, an eagerness to follow good practices and a desire to apply his skills in the field of DevOps.
We will provide you the grounds to succeed, an embracing working environment and very complex and interesting technical challenges to solve.
You will:
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Terraform, and Bash to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, create automation strategies, and deploy efficient solutions.
- Utilize cloud technologies and services, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to architect and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.

You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Proven experience of 4 years as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Gitlab CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
