We are looking for a highly technical, results-driven Integration Engineer to serve as the primary builder and driver of our data connectivity ecosystem. In this hands-on role, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural requirements and robust, production-ready code, directly owning the flow of data between Salesforce, Big Query, and our core internal systems. If you possess a "builder" mindset and thrive on diving deep into logs, logic, and security protocols to solve intricate technical challenges, you will be a vital asset in scaling our global platform.

This role can be based in any of our European hubs: Madrid, Riga, or Ljubljana. We offer a hybrid work model, allowing you to balance time between our local offices and working from home.

What you'll do:

  • Build & Execute: Translate architectural requirements and specifications into robust, scalable integration solutions. You will be the primary driver behind connecting Salesforce, BigQuery, and our internal business systems.
  • Workflow Automation: Develop and maintain complex automation workflows using iPaaS tools (like n8n or MuleSoft). You’ll ensure these flows are not just functional, but optimized for performance.
  • API Development: Design, develop, and secure RESTful APIs. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of an API, from initial creation to deployment via API Gateways.
  • Data Orchestration: Manage the flow of data across systems (ETL/ELT), ensuring that data remains clean, consistent, and secure as it moves between Salesforce instances and our data warehouses.
  • Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Act as the "Level 3" support for complex integration failures. You’ll dive deep into logs and logic to identify bottlenecks and keep our systems running 24/7.
  • Security Implementation: Put security into practice. You will implement OAuth 2.0, encryption, and token management to ensure every data byte is protected and compliant with GDPR/CCPA.
  • Collaborative Leadership: While you love the technical work, you also enjoy helping others. You’ll mentor mid-level engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide practical feedback to the Architect on what’s working on the ground.

Commitment: Full time Location: Madrid, Spain; Riga, Latvia; Ljubljana, Slovenia Work type: hybrid

What we are looking for:

  • Hands-on Integration Experience: 5+ years of experience working with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP). You know how to handle everything from simple webhooks to complex asynchronous messaging.
  • iPaaS Mastery: Production-level experience with tools like n8n, MuleSoft, or Boomi. You should be comfortable writing custom logic and scripts within these platforms.
  • Salesforce & BigQuery Fluency: Deep experience working with the Salesforce API and understanding how its data objects translate to BigQuery environments.
  • Coding & Scripting: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) or Python. You don't just use low-code tools; you know when to write a custom script to get the job done right.
  • API & Cloud Fundamentals: Solid understanding of API Gateways (Kong, AWS API Gateway) and cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS). You should be comfortable with Docker and basic container principles.
  • The "Builder" Mindset: You are proactive, detail-oriented, and possess the communication skills to explain a technical fix to a non-technical stakeholder.
