TD SYNNEX has built a strong data analytics capability, focused on creating predictive insights, automation of the business processes and personalization of the partner interactions.

TD SYNNEX is looking for a Head of Data to lead our technical data strategy and capabilities as we scale our Cloud Business. This role owns the end-to-end data function that includes data engineering, BI reporting and analytics, governance and advanced analytics.

The new leader will guide a team of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Power BI developers and Support Analysts with the objective of ensuring data is trusted, accessible, secure, and drives measurable business impact.

You will partner closely with the Product Team, Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Security, and Go-To-Market teams to turn data into a strategic asset for customers and internal decision-making.

The role expectations:

  • Strong Data Technical Lead that loves building things solutions and are comfortable working with modern development tools
  • Ability to drive decisions on strategic data architecture and analytics technical solutions.
  • Ability to design and implement governance and compliance processes
  • Strong presence, strong driver and strong leadership skills. Experience in leading technical teams. Servant leadership.
  • Ability to drive and build solutions in complex organizations structures. Out of the box thinking and team-work collaboration mindset
  • Experience with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, dbt).
  • Background in AI/ML, personalization, or advanced analytics.
  • Experience working in regulated or enterprise cloud environments.
  • Strong product mindset with exposure to customer-facing data features.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

  • Hands on programming/scripting experience in Python, Scala, or R.
  • Confident statistical and machine learning skills
  • Have managed a team
  • Strong experience with practical data science and hands-on involvement with deployed ML pipelines in a business environment
  • Relevant SQL skills
  • Team player with great communication skills and willing to grown the other team members
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Min 4 years experience on a similar role working as a Data Scientist
  • Fluency in English are is required
