THE WORK:

Although no two days at Accenture are the same, as Tax expert in our Tax Strategy & Consulting practice, a typical day might include:

• Re-shaping our clients’ Tax Function to address emerging trends in tax compliance and reporting regulations, boost effectiveness and efficiency while adapting to challenging and rapidly changing market conditions
• Acting as an expert while working with Accenture’s global teams to shape and help clients develop cutting edge and industry leading solutions
• Providing services to our clients from global corporate entities including Energy, Consumer Goods, High Tech, Retail, Life Sciences, and other industries on a wide range of topics covering Indirect Tax, Direct Tax, and Transfer Pricing

• Individual support of a People Lead and a specific path of professional development, as well as the possibility of a session with a Coach.

• Traveling to work with prestigious clients and deliver large-scale transformational change. We deliver our work in hybrid model, remotely, in our offices but also traveling and working closely with our Clients in their offices. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. That is why traveling declaration, willingness and ability to work at client locations mostly across Europe and beyond, for short or long term, is required.   
• The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office—depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs. 

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree
• Indirect Tax expertise in VAT, GST, SUT, e-invoicing for Tax, Tax Compliance Reporting (SAF-T, SII, e-Ledger, e-Books)
• Experience in analysis and implementation of Tax requirements for indirect Taxes (VAT, GST, SUT) and Tax Compliance Reporting including their integration with Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchase to Pay, Record to Report, Order to Cash and Treasury
• 3+ years of experience in SAP tax configuration and its integration into Sales and Distribution and Materials Management and/or end-to-end tax technology solution implementation including Indirect tax bolt-on (Vertex O Series, Thomson Reuters (OneSource), Sovos)
• Optional: Experience in SAP DRC implementation for Compliance Reporting and e-invoicing
• Experience in Requirements Management and Project management for the implementation of Indirect Tax solutions and Tax Compliance Reporting Solutions
• Good understanding of the Tax Technology landscape, trends and architecture for Indirect Tax and Tax Compliance Reporting
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken) required

BONUS POINTS IF YOU ARE AND HAVE:

• SAP/Oracle transactional experience in financial operations, sales, purchases and materials management
• SAP Certified and / or Oracle Certified
• Other foreign EU language e.g. German, French, Italian
