About us

At Vozitel, we believe in doing things properly and delivering excellence in everything we build. We help our customers present the best possible image of their companies through the user experiences we enable. Innovation is at the core of our culture, as a continuous improvement mechanism and a source of real differentiation.

We are a software company with a proprietary platform designed to help organizations improve results and reduce costs through process automation and simplified task management. Our solution integrates a specialized CRM, a virtual PBX enhanced with Artificial Intelligence, multiple communication channels, and advanced virtual agent (callbot) technology.

As we continue to scale our platform and operations, we are strengthening our Systems team and creating opportunities for junior talent to learn, grow, and potentially join the company long-term.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our technology team. This role is critical to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of Vozitel’s internal infrastructure and production environments. The position combines operational excellence, security compliance, and continuous improvement across systems and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing the company’s internal infrastructure, including device provisioning and second-level support for employees. This includes access management, VPN connectivity, corporate email accounts, and software licenses.
  • The role covers the maintenance, monitoring, and updating of servers and machines, primarily Linux-based, including physical servers hosted in data centers. You will administer and optimize a VMware-based virtualization environment, managing virtual machines and templates.
  • You will also be responsible for backup management, including daily checks, restore operations, and periodic integrity verification. Database maintenance activities will include MySQL environments and Galera clusters.
  • From a security and compliance perspective, the role includes managing ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS certifications, coordinating vulnerability scans, continuity tests, periodic reviews, and maintaining all related documentation.
  • In addition, the position involves reviewing infrastructure costs and supplier invoices to ensure efficiency and cost control.

What We Offer

  • We offer a permanent contract within a stable and growing software company. Compensation will be aligned with experience and the value brought to the organization.
  • The role provides exposure to a wide range of technologies in a dynamic environment that promotes continuous learning. You will work with a committed team, supported by top-tier shareholders, with access to training and long-term professional growth opportunities. Private health insurance is included.

Required Technical Profile

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or an equivalent field is required, along with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong, hands-on expertise in Linux system administration is essential, along with solid experience in VMware environments. Knowledge of Fortinet firewalls, Avamar backup solutions, Windows desktop environments, and macOS is required.
  • Candidates must be comfortable scripting and automation using Bash, Ansible, PowerShell, and Terraform. A high level of technical English is mandatory, with the ability to participate in meetings with customers and vendors.
  • Additionally, the following skills and experience are considered a plus: Experience administering MySQL databases and Galera clusters, as is knowledge of AWS cloud environments. Networking expertise and experience managing Cisco switches will be positively valued. A driving license and access to a personal vehicle are also considered an advantage.

Soft Skills Required

  • This role requires a high level of personal responsibility and ownership, given its direct impact on platform stability and internal operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, with a structured and analytical approach to incident resolution.
  • Clear communication skills are essential, particularly when interacting with non-technical colleagues, external providers, and auditors. The position also demands discretion and rigor, due to exposure to sensitive systems, data, and security processes.
  • The ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and remain calm under operational pressure is critical. A proactive mindset, oriented toward prevention rather than reaction, is strongly valued.
  • A strong attention to detail and documentation discipline is required, especially in the context of security certifications and audits. Cost awareness and an efficiency-driven mindset are important, as the role includes supplier and invoice review.
  • The position benefits from a continuous learning attitude, openness to new technologies, and willingness to evolve the infrastructure alongside the company’s growth. Team collaboration and alignment with broader technology and business objectives are expected.
