- Strong working knowledge of PL/SQL and T-SQL for application analysis, maintenance, and operational support.
- Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts using Perl, PowerShell, Shell, Bash, or Python.
- Close collaboration with the Application & Middleware Team in performing BAU (Business As Usual) operational tasks related to application environments.
- Working closely with Project Managers to drive activities related to building, testing, and migrating environments, including preparation and submission of infrastructure build, configuration, and access requests, as well as resolving project blockers.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to applications and their environments.
- Monitoring application environments to ensure performance, availability, and reliability.
- Creating and maintaining high-quality operational and technical documentation (e.g., in Confluence).
Responsibilities
Perform role of AppOps for application migration project, part of data center migration program. Applications serve payment card acceptance / acquiring and issuer processor’s business processes.
Critical business functions, including transaction authorization processes, are implemented by application systems developed locally and provided by external vendors.
The following technical qualifications are required to carry out AppOps project tasks:
- Administration, configuration and maintenance
- - Payment card issuing system applications
- - Acquire transactions system applications
- monitoring the correct operation of the applicartions environment in the context of maintaining the application environment
- system support for maintaining the continuity of operation of application servers by solving incidents and problems related to the operation of these environments,
- verification and implementation of changes delivered to production systems,
- participation in project work carried out within local and international organizations
- cooperation with external technical support and with technical groups within an international corporation
