Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank addresses the needs of corporate clients, financial institutions, investors and issuers in three segments – Corporate Treasury Services, Institutional Client Services and Business Banking.
Securities Services sits within Trust and Securities Services, TSS, and offers post-trade solutions in 30+ markets to both institutional and corporate clients. We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team in Germany or London to initially support our Asset Services squad but with a desire to learn and grow within the global team.
Your key responsibilities:
- Product Owner for Asset Servicing for the European region
- Work in close partnership with the Asset Services Product Manager to deliver upon the strategy
- Manage the QBR process, JIRA hygiene, JIRA priorities planning and partnership with Tech and Operations
- Challenge and drive the ROI (return on investment) on non-mandatory asks ensuring sprints are managed and prioritized effectively
- Ensure compliance with the Agile methodology
- Be the first point of contact for the product within the European region
- Lead the book of work for the European region and contribute to other regional items as and where required
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (Operations, Technology, Business) to ensure needs are met and priorities are understood
- Contribute to the strategic vision by providing opinion and insight into the competitive landscape; be familiar with vendor solutions, market regulations/changes and initiatives
- Produce MIS for the product as defined and determined by the Agile methodology and/or Product Manager.
- Accountable for the successful delivery of the transformation book of work

This job is available in full and parttime.
Your skills and experience:
- Knowledge of asset servicing essential and specific experience within the European markets, specifically Germany
- Prior product owner experience
- Awareness and experience of working within the Agile methodology
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant working experience, e.g. Securities Services (Custody/Fund Services) or asset services operations
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to drive tasks to conclusion independently
- Solution orientated individual who can break down complex tasks into deliveries
- Can-Do attitude is essential
- Industry experience or a relevant degree from a reputed institute
- English fluently is mandatory, knowledge in German would be preffered
