Data Analyst, Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) Divisional Data Office (DDO) – Risk, Finance and Treasury (RFT)

GSA is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.
You will join the RFT DDO in GSA and will be part of the team responsible for the data strategy across these business domains. You will focus on management of change-the-bank activities to improve our data capabilities to meet recently revised regulatory and internal policies and standards. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with various groups who actively originate and consume data, including business lines, infrastructure functions and large-scale change programmes.
Your key responsibilities
- Contribute to several data modelling and strategy projects including related governance and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Support relevant change the bank and run the bank data management priorities in partnership with Divisional & Regional Stakeholders.
- Monitor data management related regulatory changes and gap analysis to Deutsche Bank processes.
- Drive implementation of Data Quality Control Framework to ensure completeness / accuracy / timeliness for the RFT mandated scope of data, ensuring compliance with Strategic Data KPIs
- Identify most critical and strategic data to be brought under governance and facilitate right sourcing via strategic platforms
- Support relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholder groups, representing the RFT data strategy and DDO function.

Your skills and experience
- 6+ years of experience in Banking, ideally data-management related roles
- Experience contributing to complex change programmes (ideally cross-divisional and cross-location)
- Data analysis & modelling skill: ability to investigate large sets of data to identify and document critical attributes used in the production of key metrics and reports from final point of calculation / reporting to originating applications
- Some experienced in the usage of industry standard data management tools such as Collibra and Solidatus, along with Python / SQL coding skills
- Demonstrable experience in translating Core Data Standards into practical implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex requirements in an easily understandable and effective way
