You will join the Model Risk Governance team within a global investment bank operating in the Financial Markets area. The project focuses on the delivery, testing and maintenance of pricing models, risk models and analytical infrastructure used across global markets.

You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and quantitative teams (Quants/Strats), supporting the rollout of new models and services into the production environment. The systems include real-time data processing, risk reporting, and portfolio analytics used globally.

Your role will ensure high-quality delivery through comprehensive testing and business analysis, including assessing upstream and downstream impacts of changes across complex systems.

Responsibilities

Testing

  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases
  • Manage test cycles and report testing progress
  • Provide test sign-off for production releases
  • Work with testing tools such as Jenkins, Trace Horizon, Genie, Genesis

Business Analysis

  • Gather and document requirements from stakeholders (Quant, IT, business)
  • Analyze end-to-end impact of changes (upstream/downstream systems)
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and acceptance criteria

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with IT, Quant, Trading and Change Management teams
  • Support the rollout of new services and models into production
  • Manage escalations and proactively resolve issues

Continuous Improvement & Quality

  • Identify opportunities for test automation
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, and audit requirements
  • Balance short-term business needs with long-term platform strategy

MUST
  • Experience in software/system testing (manual/automated)
  • Experience with Unix / Linux
  • Experience in business analysis (requirements gathering, documentation)
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with testing and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Strong English communication skills (international environment)
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across complex systems
  • Understanding of system dependencies (upstream/downstream)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
NICE TO HAVE
  • Knowledge of financial markets (pricing, risk, financial instruments)
  • Experience working in investment banking or financial institutions
  • Familiarity with technologies such as: *Haskell or other functional programming languages *Java *Control-M
  • Experience with tools such as Bitbucket, Remedy
