As a Senior Software Engineer you’ll play a critical role in building, delivering, and maintaining our large Trade Reporting solution for the US market within our global Index & Analytics Engineering team. Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and develop new sophisticated functionality while maintaining and improving the existing codebase.
  • Contribute across the full product lifecycle, including business needs, design, implementation, quality assurance, and deployment.
  • Design and build core parts of the backend system, primarily using Java.
  • Collaborate with our European and US teams, building and maintaining our solution.
  • Support our highly available, low-latency distributed system.

This position will be located in Vilnius where you will join our existing engineering team. It offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in software engineering, including development and maintenance of complex applications.
  • Strong ability to design system‑level solutions and translate requirements into effective technical implementations.
  • Clear communicator with experience providing technical support and collaborating in cross‑functional, matrixed environments.
  • Proficiency in modern software development tools, programming languages, and development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing secure software solutions for complex systems.
  • Background working with systems architecture, network systems, or application infrastructure.
  • Exposure to maintaining and enhancing large‑scale internal software products.
