Role Description

We’re growing our Product Design team and are looking for someone who can craft creative, intuitive user experiences. You’ll work directly within a cross-functional team of talented Product Managers and Developers to deliver consistently high-quality, engaging, and delightful experiences. If you’re a talented Growth Designer with a passion for customer conversion flows—focused on improving all aspects of in-app purchasing to optimise conversions—and you’re motivated by producing work that has real impact in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • UX and CX: Combine user experience (UX) and customer experience (CX) principles with business goals to optimise the customer’s entire “shopping” experience and drive in-app purchasing habits.
  • Mapping and optimising the customer journey: Understand how customers find, browse, purchase, and receive products to identify and remove friction points.
  • Data-driven optimisation: Use data and analytics to understand user behaviour and performance, applying insights to improve the purchasing experience, increase conversion rates, and drive revenue and product growth.
  • Product taxonomy: Collaborate with product counterparts and specialists across the business to improve how products are displayed, described, grouped, and promoted.
  • Copywriting: Write clear, persuasive content that guides users towards completing a purchase.
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration: Along with your product counterpart you’ll act as a bridge, connecting the work you do with an understanding of our sales, content specialists, and finance process to ensure a seamless experience for our users.
  • Strategic alignment: Ensure design work aligns with strategic objectives and vision, identifying potential risks and using design to mitigate them.
  • From concept to delivery: Partner with Product and Engineering teams to take ideas from initial concept through to live solutions.
  • Stakeholder engagement & facilitation: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Product Managers, Developers, Marketing, Finance, and Sales and senior stakeholders to drive alignment. Facilitate workshops where needed to generate ideas and meaningful discussion.
  • Presenting to stakeholders and peers: We cannot design alone; feedback is vital to what we do. Our design team does regular critiques and feedback sessions to aid collaboration. You’ll be expected to present design concepts to stakeholders and other peers, expressing clear rationales to back up your design choices.
