As a Applications Developer (Client dedicated) at ICON, you will design and develop clinical data solutions, ensuring the efficient handling, analysis, and reporting of complex clinical trial data.

What You Will Do:

You will manage day-to-day clinical data science activities, supporting your team to deliver quality outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design, development, and validation of data science programming solutions for clinical trials.
  • Collaborating with biostatisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to develop data specifications and analysis plans.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of clinical data through rigorous quality control and validation checks.
  • Supporting and maintaining existing applications
  • Analyzing existing applications for creation of robust technical documentation

Your Profile:

You will have solid clinical data science experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, or a related discipline
  • 4 years work experience in similar role.
  • Proficiency in R Shiny and Python.
  • Cloud experience (e.g. AWS).
  • Work experience with Power Apps and Power BI preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
