About the Role
Supports healthcare professionals in the daily use of digital tools for diabetes management.
We are looking for a Technical Support & Product Application Specialist to help hospitals and clinics understand, use and adopt our software solutions in their everyday clinical workflows.
The focus is on explaining how the software works, supporting users, demonstrating value and encouraging adoption, working closely with Sales and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Software Usage & User Support
- Support healthcare professionals in the daily use of Abbott Diabetes Care software.
- Answer user questions related to functionalities, workflows and best practices and bridge between users and customer service.
- Act as the main point of contact for nurses, physicians and administrative staff for software‑related topics.
- Ensure users feel confident and comfortable using the system.
- Limited installation activities
Training, Demo & Adoption
- Deliver product demonstrations and user training sessions (on‑site and remote).
- Explain software features in a clear, practical and user‑friendly way.
- Support go‑live and early usage phases to drive adoption and engagement.
- Promote correct and effective use of the software to maximize customer value.
Customer Interaction & Sales Support
- Work closely with Sales and Account Managers during customer visits and presentations.
- Support commercial activities by explaining product benefits and use cases.
- Build strong, trust‑based relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Identify opportunities to increase usage and highlight additional solutions when relevant.
Feedback & Collaboration
- Collect feedback from users and share insights with internal teams.
- Report common questions, challenges and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and other internal stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience.
