As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and evolving the cloud infrastructure that powers a rapidly growing technology platform used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide. Working at the intersection of infrastructure engineering and application development, you will help ensure scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence while supporting ambitious growth objectives. This position offers the opportunity to tackle complex engineering challenges, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, customer-facing functions, and leadership. You will contribute to platform innovation through automation, observability, and cloud-native best practices, while maintaining a strong focus on performance and developer experience. Accountabilities
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure to support high availability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and improve infrastructure solutions that enable the platform to scale effectively as user demand grows.
- Implement and enhance automation, monitoring, observability, and alerting systems to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead.
- Strengthen security, performance, and resilience across infrastructure and application environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response, troubleshooting, and system health management.
- Own and improve reliability initiatives, including performance optimization, technical debt reduction, critical issue resolution, and operational excellence projects.
- Develop and maintain application components and infrastructure tooling using modern programming languages and cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, support, customer success, and commercial teams on cross-functional projects and platform initiatives.
- Contribute to technical strategy, architecture discussions, tooling decisions, and long-term platform evolution.
- Promote engineering best practices across infrastructure management, software development, CI/CD processes, and cloud operations.

Requirements
- Significant experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related technical disciplines.
- Strong background designing, operating, and scaling complex cloud platforms serving large user bases.
- Hands-on application development experience using Node.js and modern JavaScript or TypeScript technologies.
- Solid expertise in CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and software delivery processes.
- Experience implementing observability, monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
- Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, security principles, and platform engineering concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges across infrastructure and application layers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

- Experience in startup, scale-up, or high-growth technology environments is highly desirable.
