Sensata is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the global Financial Systems & Analytics team. This role focuses on forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis while transforming data into actionable business insights.
The successful candidate will support data-driven decision-making by enhancing reporting capabilities, identifying trends, and driving automation and process improvements across analytics and financial systems.
General Responsibilities
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
Additional Responsibilities:
- Generate and analyze Time & Labor reporting as well as Compliance reporting
- Own Engineering Project Financial Reporting
- Support FX and Metals reporting
- Support Revenue Fill reporting

The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.
Starting Salary The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Additional Experience / Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency & strong working knowledge of Excel
- Highly adaptable with a proven capacity to learn new tools and technologies efficiently
- Demonstrates ability to think critically and resolve complex challenges in a timely manner
- Experience with BI/analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, QlikView or similar.
- Experience with Power BI or OAC DV preferred - but not mandatory.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly is more important than expertise in a specific tool.
- Familiarity with Oracle products (EBS, EPM, OAC, etc.) preferred
