As a Data Analyst focusing on Digital Commerce you will empower the Digital Business Department to make impactful, data-driven decisions by transforming complex web analytics and commercial data into valuable insights. To achieve this, your focus will be on providing analysis on the performance of our marketplace business model and OBIs own retail and on the interdependencies between both value streams. Furthermore you will be implementing modern AI tools directly within our Databricks platform and Looker.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze digital commerce performance across marketplace and retail models, identifying trends, interdependencies, and growth opportunities.
  • Design and implement standardized KPIs and performance metrics to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and analytical workflows using SQL, Python, and Databricks.
  • Build and enable self-service analytics solutions, including dashboards and reporting tools in Looker.
  • Implement and scale AI-driven analytics use cases such as conversational analytics within the data platform.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and complex analytical projects combining tracking data with additional data sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Digital Business, Marketing, Product, Category Management) to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Completed degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, Statistics, Marketing, or a comparable discipline.
  • Several years of professional experience in digital analytics, preferably within e-commerce or digital business environments.
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or Webtrekk and understanding of tracking methodologies.
  • Excellent skills in SQL and/or Python, ideally working with raw tracking or large-scale analytical datasets.
  • Experience with BI and data platforms such as Databricks and Looker.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Polish, with the ability to explain complex insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Openness to work in hybrid model and visit the Katowice office.
