Job Description
- Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Understands the software development lifecycle and leverages critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality.
- Champion automation across operations and reliability processes, focusing on improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
- Work closely with engineering, product, and operations leadership to ensure site reliability strategies are aligned with overall business and technical goals.
- Has an oversight into application, system, and architecture design decisions and guides team to achieve key results for products assigned to them.
- Remediates issues using engineering principles and creates proactive design solutions for potential failures to ensure high reliability of technical solutions.
- Achieves team commitments (and influence others to do the same) through collaboration with other engineers, architects and product owners.
- Works with other members of their assigned Value Stream to ensure that the in-scope applications/platforms are meeting performance and stability requirements. This includes Managing Major Incidents to Mitigation/Resolution.
- Works with Application Development to ensure that assigned applications/platforms have appropriate monitoring and metrics in place to appropriately measure performance and stability.

- SRE, Observability, Python development, HARC Services
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar; Git/GitHub; Artifactory
- Proven skills in high availability and scalability design, as well as performance monitoring
