Responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure based on AWS.
• Managing and continuously improving the Kubernetes platform, including Amazon EKS.
• Creating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Increasing reliability, scalability, observability, and performance of systems.
• Implementing blue/green and canary deployment strategies.
• Managing infrastructure as code and automating operational tasks.
• Monitoring production systems and proactively resolving incidents.
• Optimizing cloud costs while maintaining high availability.
• Collaborating with development teams to improve deployment processes and platform reliability.
• Supporting secure and regulation-compliant cloud operations.

Requirements:

• At least 3-4 years of experience on similar position
• Very good knowledge of Linux system administration, including shell scripting.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, particularly DNS, SSL/TLS, VPC and load balancing.
• Practical experience with AWS, including EKS, S3, Route 53 and CloudWatch.
• Experience deploying, operating and scaling Kubernetes workloads.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with blue/green or canary deployment strategies.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Experience operating applications across multiple AWS regions.
• Knowledge of cloud cost-optimization strategies.
• Problem-solving skills, proactivity and good communication.
• Willingness to work in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Very good English skills

Additional advantages:

• AWS certifications, such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience with Karpenter and Kubernetes autoscaling.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and secrets management.
• Experience in regulated environments, in particular GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Experience scripting in Bash and Python.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools, such as Ansible.
• Experience with work management and team collaboration tools.
