Role Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements. You will partner with data asset managers, architects, and development leads to ensure technical solutions provide data that is fit for use and aligned with architecture blueprints. You will contribute to and leverage coding standards and best practices to ensure services and components are efficient and reusable, while identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements.

Qualifications
- Demonstrates breadth of applied IT skills across at least two IT job profiles.
- Applies Integrated Risk Management, IT Operations, IT Project Management, and Enterprise Architecture skills relevant to the work.
- Requires at least two relevant roles and experience managing or influencing people or organizations to achieve significant IT outcomes.
- Defines strategy and leads the delivery and transformation of business outcomes through IT within major sub-OU services, products, or programs.
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in data engineering, data science, machine learning or related field.
- Proficiency with data architecture and data processing tools.
- Proficiency in Advanced Python Programming, Design Patterns, and FastAPI.
- Practical, hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks.
- Solid background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) complemented by experience in cloud environment operations and deployments (e.g., Azure).
- Familiarity with AI and ML concepts and frameworks.
- Certifications: Azure Associate Data Engineer (DP-203), Databricks Professional Data Engineer, Apache Spark Developer Associate, Professional Data Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
