This project focuses on the discovery and modernization of a MarTech and Customer Membership platform landscape. The goal is to assess the current architecture, define future-state solutions, and establish a roadmap for scalable customer engagement, loyalty, CRM, and marketing capabilities using modern cloud and event-driven technologies.
- Assess and document the current MarTech and customer platform architecture.
- Define target-state architecture and modernization strategies.
- Design scalable, event-driven integration solutions.
- Develop migration roadmaps for complex legacy landscapes.
- Support technology and vendor evaluations.
- Drive architecture governance through RFCs and ADRs.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.
- Provide hands-on architectural leadership and promote engineering best practices.
MUST
- 6+ years in Solution/Software Architecture for distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in Event-Driven Architecture.
- Proven experience defining target-state architecture and modernization roadmaps.
- Experience with legacy system transformation and migration initiatives.
- Experience within the MarTech/customer domain, including areas such as loyalty/membership, CRM, CDP, consent management, customer engagement, and marketing activation platforms.
- Hands-on Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL background.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and Trunk-Based Development.
- Experience with RFCs and ADRs.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Knowledge of AWS, Kafka, and Terraform.
- Experience designing API-led and event-driven integrations.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft or other iPaaS solutions.
- Previous involvement in technology modernization, vendor evaluation, or platform-selection initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder communication and architectural leadership skills.
- Fluent English.
- Background in retail, e-commerce, customer engagement, or digital marketing domains.
- Experience working with large-scale customer data and engagement ecosystems.
