Senior Fullstack Engineer (Symfony, Vue area)

Responsibilities:
- Co-deciding on the scope and direction of feature development by analyzing business needs and proposing solutions.
- Leading key end-to-end changes: from hypothesis, through technical design and implementation, to deployment, monitoring, and drawing conclusions.
- Refactoring key functionalities from legacy to modular architecture while supporting the current system.
- Designing the modular monolith architecture, including defining module boundaries and designing integrations between them.
- Co-creating platform conventions and patterns and sharing best practices.
- Developing the front-end layer in Vue.js, including components and API integrations.
- Improving team work quality through code reviews, best practices, and a deliberate approach to testing.
Additionally:
- Conscious use of AI tools in engineering work and supporting the team in their responsible application.
- Working on the development of a modular architecture and co-creating the direction of technical and product changes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in software development on a complex project or product.
- Very good knowledge of PHP and Symfony and conscious use of design patterns.
- Ability to work independently with Vue.js and TypeScript when building and maintaining the UI layer.
- Ability to safely modernize critical legacy code without stopping business processes.
- Product-minded approach to software development and ability to justify decisions regarding the scope of functionality.
- Knowledge of DDD and the bounded contexts approach and the ability to extract modules and design integrations between them.
- Ability to design stable contracts between modules and to create efficient and reliable code.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, in particular PostgreSQL or MySQL, as well as execution plans and indexing.
- Treating tests as part of the definition of done.
